The work at Ephrata was in the "planning stages" for several years as there was a great need for a local congregation in the Ephrata area.
The work at Ephrata was finally in the "formative stages" in 2022 and Bible studies were held in a member's home, and those studies bore fruit with a baptism that year.
The first official worship services for Ephrata Area Christians were held on March 12, 2023, at our current location in Akron, PA. God has been gracious, and the church has grown from an initial 6 members to our 18 current members. We've had 2 more baptisms in the summer of 2023.
